The rules for using Active247. Last updated 3 September 2026.

What this site is

Active247 is run by Ranked Technologies Limited. It checks the public websites and portals of Nigerian banks, fintechs, government agencies, telcos and power companies every 2 to 3 minutes from our own server in Istanbul, Türkiye, and shows whether each address answered. Reading the board is all the site does.

We are not connected to the organisations we check

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or acting for any bank, fintech, telco, power company, government body or any other organisation named on this site. We check their public addresses from outside, the same way any member of the public can. Company names, product names and logos belong to their owners and appear here only to say which public address was checked.

What a reading means

A row on the board says one thing: whether that public address answered our request from Istanbul at that moment, and how quickly. It is our own observation and nothing more.

A reading is not a statement about an organisation, its licence, its financial position, its mobile app, its branches, its call centre, its cards, its transfers or any internal system. A bank app can be down while the bank website answers. A website can fail for us while customers inside Nigeria are fine. The method and its limits are set out on the How we check page. Read that page before you quote a reading.

No warranty

The board is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is accurate, complete, current or available. Checks can be wrong. A firewall can refuse us and look like an outage. Our own server or our own network can fail. Do not use Active247 as the only basis for a decision that matters, and do not use it anywhere certainty is required.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Ranked Technologies Limited is not liable for any loss or damage that follows from using this site or from relying on anything published here.

Using the board

You may read the board, link to it, share it and quote it. If you quote a reading, say when it was taken and say that it was measured from outside Nigeria, because that changes what it means.

Do not flood the site with automated requests, do not try to break into it or interfere with it, and do not present the board as your own or as the statement of an organisation that we check.

Changes to the board

We may add services, remove services, change how often a service is checked, change how it is checked, or take the whole board down. We may do any of that without notice. Nothing here is a service commitment to you.

Corrections and removal

If a reading looks wrong, write to support@ranked.ng with the service name and the time you saw it, and we will reply with the raw check results.

If you speak for an organisation listed on the board and you want the entry corrected or removed, write to support@ranked.ng. We will act within 30 days, and we will stop checking your address if you ask us to.

Money

Nothing on this site is charged for and no payment is taken here. There is no public account to open. Private monitoring and branded status pages for other businesses are something we plan to offer, and anything we have said about the price of that is a proposal, not an offer.

Privacy

What the site does and does not collect is set out on the Privacy page. In short, public pages set no cookie, nothing tracks you, and the server sits in Türkiye under a Nigerian company.

Software and licence

Active247 runs on Kener, an open source status page released under the MIT licence, at github.com/rajnandan1/kener. The Nigerian service list, the check settings, the method page and the branding are ours.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
